The Museum

Milestones Museum of Living History brings Hampshire's heritage to life with a varied collection celebrating bygone eras. Families of four can browse the recreated, cobbled streets, where old-timey exhibits and period vehicles abound. Youngsters can don an array of old-fashioned garb, or stop by a 1940s sweet shop to trade old pennies and ration cards for confectionary. Visitors may encounter wandering characters, decked out in antiquated garb and ready to answers questions about life in times gone by. Further attractions include a penny arcade and play post office for under 5s. Traditional pub The Baverstock Arms serves refreshments and a selection of ales, and a 1950s-style cafe and picnic areas also feature.
