Creating a stir in many a high-end London restaurant, Brian Scully is now the head chef for the newly renovated Nonna Rosa. The restaurant uses locally-sourced ingredients to concoct authentic Italian cuisine, garnishing creamy pasta with fresh seafood and succulent meats. Summer evenings can be spent soaking up the European ambience of the roof terrace, while more cosy meals can be taken within the elegant dining room.

Joining the savoury parade of refined Italian dining, hungry pairs can tuck into a starter of Portobello mushrooms stuffed with gorgonzola (£5.95), or fritto misto with whitebait, squid, and prawns (£6.95). The mains will pick up where the appetisers left off, with visitors helping themselves to chargrilled lamb cutlets with wild garlic pesto (£16.75), or a fillet of beef Rossini (£18.50) with fried croutons, pâté, and red wine sauce.
