Two adults and three children can seek refuge from the Whangdoodles at the The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre. The museum is located in the village of Great Missenden where the author spent 36 years of his life creating his magical, fantastical and heart-warming stories. Aiming to inspire excitement about reading, writing and creativity, visitors can explore three galleries. The 'Boy Gallery' takes guests on a journey of Dahl's childhood and family life, before entering the 'Solo Gallery' where the tale continues into his life as a writer. Whizzpopping is not forbidden in the Story Centre with a collection of mementos and the chance to sit in his famous writing chair, with a writing board resting across the arm rests, in a replica shed. Allowing human beans to unleash their creativity with their own story writing, make a stop-frame animation or create their own gobblefunk word. 'George's Crafty Kitchen' allows little ones to create their own concoction of crafts to give to grizzly old grunions.
