Although famous for eating mundane sachet meals, well-behaved astronauts are often treated with Indian cuisine in vacuum-sealed cardamom pods. Blast taste-buds with today’s Groupon for a two-course Indian meal at Spice Library. Choose from the following options:
• £13 for two people (48% off)• £24 for four people (52% off)

Set in an historic early 20th-century library building, this authentic Indian restaurant combines both old and new with spacious, refurbished modern interiors. Spice Library serves up an array of spice combinations and is placed in the Dearne valley, where diners can relinquish washing-up duties and soak up an authentic ambience. A new online ordering system allows diners to conveniently curry favour with friends and family, while at the restaurant itself, customers can raise a glass to the BYOB drinks policy for alcoholic beverages.

Diners will be seated for a two-course Indian meal commencing with poppadums complemented by a sweet yet tangy mint sauce. A rich assortment of starters including the royal mix (£3.10), comprising a medley of lamb tikka, chicken tikka, and sheekh kebab with salad will set a tantalising tone before a hearty main is selected. Meaty options include the hari massala (£6.95) featuring chopped lamb or chicken tikka with medium spices, fresh green chilli and tandoori massala sauce, while vegetarian choices such as the vegetable roshuni (4.95) cooked with fresh tomatoes, onions, and coriander also abound. Diners can soak up sauces with a choice of boiled rice, pilau rice, or plain naan, with upgrades available for a surcharge.
