Unlike real pigeons, which have the most eclectic palates in the animal kingdom, clay pigeons are quite fussy eaters and subsist solely on a diet of shotgun pellets. Serve up a nice spread with today's Groupon from Sycamore Shooting Grounds. Choose from the following options:• £29 for clay pigeon shooting for one person
• £49 for clay pigeon shooting for two people
• £97 for clay pigeon shooting for four people
Taking aim at adventure, the sharpshooters at Sycamore Shooting Grounds look out over the rolling countryside of High Bradfield and hit the target with a selection of itchy trigger-fingered activities. Affiliated with the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association, the club offers up a gaggle of ceramic prey for keen eyes to take aim at, with targets designed to mimic closely the flight of live quarry. Coaching lessons are also available to all gunslingers.
With information from a full safety and instruction briefing stored in their mental holsters, keen eyes can step up to the firing line to take aim at the first of 15 clays. Under the wing of the qualified instructor, visitors will be taught the safe handling and use of the shotgun, and will be talked through the techniques required to hit the fast-paced, wingless discs.
