Whipping up a Mediterranean storm in the kitchen for over 12 years, this family-run Italian restaurant serves an extensive menu of classic Italian pizzas, pastas, and salads. While an outside seating area accommodates al fresco dining, inside the decor offsets quietly classy monochrome tones with an old-school jukebox and a mural around the front windows. The menu is filled with rich risottos and a range of steaks and stone-baked pizzas at the restaurant's central location on Ecclesall Road.
Partners in dine or groups of four can dip into a slice of the action with a hand-rolled quattro salami pizza topped with four types of Italian cured meats (£8.75). Vegetarians may want to try the Mediterranean, a pizza accompanied by chargrilled aubergine, courgette, onions and peppers (£8.50). Those wanting to try another traditional Italian dish can tuck into the pollo conchiglie, wherein pasta shells are laced with cream and garlic and tossed with chicken breast, rocket and peppers (£9.25). We went out to find a nice, small, quiet place for brunch and came across this lovely venue. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food range and prices were great. The food was also fantastic!
