About the Event
An evening of whoodunnits, whatsitallabout, and wherearethecanapés awaits participants during a 'blockbuster film' murder mystery evening, which centres on the opening night of Hollywood’s latest blockbuster film 'Undercover and Dangerous'. The stars of the movie, directors and production team have gathered together at the cinema for the premiere screening of the film. Midway through their glitzy cocktail reception disaster strikes and a promotional stunt goes horribly wrong. On investigation, Tom Spanks, the star of the movie fails to materialise from beneath a mock double bed in the foyer, where he's found dead! Matched into teams and tables, guests will relive the events that led to the murder as they read sections of scripts out and put their best foot forward in the name of justice. Cocktails and canapés will be on-hand to keep energy levels up and provide guests with sense of glamorous cloak and dagger. If the evening leaves budding detectives hungry for more, a three month membership to Spice Yorkshire, promising discounts on upwards of 100 events every month, will ensure life stays just as thrilling.

Other Attractions
In delightful contrast to the shady decadence of film noir, the event will be held in Showroom Cinema, a palace of modern amenities and entertainment. Showroom  is proud to be one of the biggest indie cinemas in Europe, and it stands tall and cool in Sheffield’s cultural quarter. A plethora of cinematic events find a home within four luxury auditoria, which in turn are housed in a converted 1930s building, and a cafe bar provides munchables for hungry cinephiles.
