The aptly named seadog is an expert at fetching sinking beach balls, digging in sand, and chasing its own whale. Release the inner rover with today's Groupon: £44 instead of £110 for a boat trip around the Solent with Seadogz.

Experts in maritime merriment, Seadogz set sail for activities including "treasure hunts", RIB voyages, day trips to The Isle of Wight, and mermaid spotting tours. Operating around the Solent, with Hythe, Calshot, Cowes, Lymington, Portsmouth, Ryde, Southampton, and Yarmouth under their radar, Seadogz have introduced many a landlubber to the briny pleasures of the brackish waters, regularly turning dry land-dwellers into budding boatswains.

Oceanic explorers will get a 90 minute trip in a Rigid-Inflatable Boat (RIB), departing from Southampton with Seadogz. Seafarers will take an exhilarating trip across the water that may take in the sights of the luxury cruise liner berths at Southampton, before turning south towards the Solent, and riding the swell while heading towards the Brambles Bank. The route then passes the famous Hamble River and historic Calshot Castle, built by Henry VIII in 1539, and the tip of the Isle of Wight, depending on the kindness of the weather conditions and how many fancy dress pirates sailors meet along the way. Swinging back round their saline path, swabbies will eventually make it back to where they set off, after a 90 minutes of thrills and speeding corners in the world's salty pond.
