In 22 acres of woodland and wildflower meadow, The Hawk Conservancy Trust plays host to over 150 birds of prey and just one terrified wood pigeon, who doesn’t mind the Pygmy Owls but sits very still and quiet when she sees a Sea Eagle. As the only Great Bustard aviary in the United Kingdom, The Hawk Conservancy also offers the chance to see the world's heaviest flying bird, as well as daily demonstrations of spectacular falconry. And for the injured birds who aren’t up to so much showing off, the Conservancy runs a five-star rehabilitation hospital that looks after over 200 birds annually.
