While some jockeys consider it good luck to hang a horseshoe in their room, shepherds prefer flock wallpaper. Ride in style with today’s Groupon from Quob Stables. Choose from the following options:• £17 for one hour of horse riding for one with breakfast or lunch plus bubbly (58% off)
• £32 for one hour of horse riding for two with breakfast or lunch plus bubbly (60% off)
Keeping riders a nose ahead, these British Horse Society approved tutors help clients of all abilities to saddle up at their 50 acre facility in rural Hampshire. Quob Stables boasts 16 years’ experience helping pupils to canter through jumping and dressage lessons, and holds regular events in its specialised arenas. In addition to its educational skills, the stables team also pampers boarding steeds with plush livery options, and operates its own revitalising hydro spa unit.
Taking place either in or outdoors, this two hour adventure will combine a leisurely trot on the resident ponies with a sumptuous treat from the cafe. Hatted participants will be accompanied by an experienced instructor as they learn to mount their horse, master the stirrups, and leave and return to the stables. Those opting for breakfast delights can tuck into a full English, while lunching riders can choose between a baked potato or baguette, all of which will be served up with a refreshing glass of bubbly.
