The ceiling’s the limit at Boulder Central, where budding heel hookers can engage in some simian antics on over 10,000 square feet of rope-free revelry, under the watchful eye of trained instructors. Specialising exclusively in bouldering, the venue features a kids' area and traversing walls for learning and low-altitude strength building. The Shard and Cave challenges are a haven of roof sections with inverted walls and overhangs for the more experienced climber, while the Beastmaker features demanding routes and a selection of campus boards to turn delicate digits into vice-like grips. 
Climbers can get started on the walls with a taster session that will go over all the fundamentals of efficient climbing. Safety, good practice, and proper technique will all be taught as students are given practical instruction and plenty of time on the walls to try out new skills. With the formal lesson finished after roughly 75 minutes, there will be an opportunity to roam the venue and push limits with around 45 minutes of free climbing time (15 minutes of which is still supervised). Shoe hire is included to give climbers a mountain-goat grip along with a return pass and a year's membership to the club.
