While yet to be widely reviewed, Oscars Restaurant has received positive write ups from Onionring.co.uk users and This Is Staffordshire. Reviews have complimented the hearty cuisine, though special mentions went to the restaurant’s showbiz inspired decor.
The waitress told us that the Dalek, an authentic and extremely valuable Dr Who relic, belonged to the chef-patron, a film and TV extra as well as collector of memorabilia. This explained why Oscars is wall-to-wall autographed portraits of the soaps stars and other celebrities with whom our host has worked.

The food was cooked fresh, piping hot with generous portions with a good selection to choose of the menu. We did not have room for tea and coffees at the end of the meal.
