An authentic Indian eatery, Sanjeev’s is a spice haven that opens its doors to share culinary secrets and tricks of the curry trade. Sanjeev himself takes classes aiming to infuse his students with the flavour of successful home cooking, with the secrets of spice mixing and essential kitchen accessories. With equal focus on quick and easy meals for last minute feasts and slow cooking dinner party masterpieces, the beginners’ programme covers a flavoursome three course dinner party.

Arriving between 10 and 10.30am to goodies of coffee and home-made nibbles, classes of up to 12 are welcomed in to the restaurant kitchen where all equipment and ingredients await. They’ll learn to stir up dishes like khichari prawns, butter chicken and lamb rogan josh, as well as essential sides of naan and chapatti bread, sampling everything along the way and enjoying a self-cooked lunch. Budding chefs will leave with a doggy bag of spicy know how, a folder of newly learnt recipes, and Friday night plans of dinner party prowess.
