Paddling away from its surf origins and into the flat-water rivers, Stand Up Paddle Board UK is an instructional centre solely dedicated to kayakers who want to do things standing up. The team teach budding paddlers on the Llangollen Canal, with flat water courses for newbies and white water rapids for a bigger splash.

Donning their wetsuits for the morning or afternoon session, instructors will teach the group the basics of strokes, navigation, and balancing on the board. Helmets and buoyancy aids are provided and paddlers should be prepared to get wet in water games. The three hour session is rounded off with a tour of the Llangollen Canal.
