Awarded two AA rosettes for good culinary behaviour, this sleek restaurant has a polished talent for dishing up flavour-rich combinations of classic Japanese cuisine with dashes of European influence. Wabi uses traditional Japanese techniques while sourcing its ingredients locally to create the diverse eye and tongue-pleasing creations on its menus. A cascading waterfall provides a captivating restaurant centrepiece, while a relaxed lounge bar downstairs complements the elegant dining space on the first floor. 
With chopsticks at the ready, peckish appetites can be sated with more than a few nibbles as two guests gorge on a deluxe tasting menu each. The otsumami can kick things off, consisting of edamame, sormame tempura, and pork scratchings, and will be followed with some salmon, tuna, and prawn sashimi salad. Pumpkin tempura can also be devoured, along with a takikomi gohan rice pot with crab. Upon suitable completion of the platter, sweet teeth can get their fill with a choice of dessert from the main menu.

Truly stunning Japanese food in fabulous surroundings. As you may expect, whilst there is plenty of the finest raw fish, Wabi offers so much more: the pork belly is a real delight for meat eaters.
