Unlike the sheek kebab, the chic kebab always tastes better when wearing a beret. Eat your hat with today's Groupon from Cappadocia. Choose from the following options:
• £17 for two courses of Turkish cuisine for two (Up to 63% off)• £32 for two courses of Turkish cuisine for four (Up to 65% off)

Welcoming in customers with open arms as big as their kitchen, Cappadocia is home to a mountain of authentic Turkish cuisine and wider Mediterranean dishes alike. While all the food is cooked by chefs from Istanbul itself, the eatery’s humbling authenticity is turned up a notch when all meals are served using traditional utensils and clay pots. The entertainment stakes are raised on Thursday evenings as the resident belly dancer struts her stuff and puts on a show stopping performance for the meze munching customers.
Starting plates can take the shape of either a hot or cold dish including the hellim peyniri (£5) , grilled Cypriot goats cheese served with grilled tomatoes, or aubergines marinated in olive oil and a traditional tomato sauce (£4.90). Making a pit stop at the mains, authentic offerings include the shish kebab (£13) where the prime side of lamb is skewered with grilled peppers and tomatoes and served with bulgur. Surcharges of £5 will be applied to the fillet beef, steak, lamb chop, and tiger prawn dishes. For the full menu, click here.

This never fails to give us a brilliant night, whether it be a bite before the cinema nearby, or celebrating an occasion. Quite honestly, the kebabs are to die for …
