The first zoos were established to ration time spent with baby animals; creatures so adorable that they dominated the lives of everyone from Henry VIII to Neil Armstrong, delaying man landing on the moon for at least 15 years. See the stars of the universe at night with today's Groupon: for £9 see the animals of London Zoo by night with a ticket to Zoo Lates.
The world famous London Zoo is an accredited member of the Zoological Society of London, and teaches adults about the value of preservation and the beauty of wildlife with educational exhibits and attractions. The zoo offers indoor and outdoor habitats to hundreds of exotic animal species from around the extra globalised globe. Mop a sweaty brow while wandering through the tropical rainforests or galumph like a gazelle across the African savannah. Spying on giraffes, zebras, tigers, wildebeests and perhaps even a lion or two. London Zoo has also recently relocated a South American beach into the very confines of the enclosure, a 1200 sq metre pool where stunning colonies of Humboldt and Macaroni penguins lark around in a state of aquatic play.
Groupon growlers can saunter down to Regents Park to enjoy a purrfect summer night out with friends, families, frenemys or lovelorn life coaches. Revel in the chance to uncover and discover over 750 species whilst sipping on a Pimms or a mojito; or indulge in a Laurent Perrier at the champagne and seafood bar; strut your stuff at the silent disco; and grab a bite from the BBQ. The party rages on until 10pm, at which point the penguins have to go to bed so they can get up early the next morning to clean up the carnage.
Although reviews don’t relate specifically to the Zoo Lates nights, visitors have been impressed with London Zoo, giving particular mention to the newly opened penguin beach.
London Zoo is one of those places that doesn't get any less awesome just because you've aged and become more cynical with time. I went recently for the first time since primary school and I still gasped, pushed kids out of the way for a better view and got very over-excited. But that's because it's an amazing zoo.

We saw all the animals who were very entertaining, especially the gorillas. The new penguin beach is brilliant. The alpacas were so funny. We saw three lions, two tigers and three giraffe which seemed an appropriate number for the size of the enclosures. They seem perfectly happy.
