The first zoos were established to ration time spent with baby animals; creatures so adorable that they dominated the lives of everyone from Henry VIII to Neil Armstrong, delaying man landing on the moon for at least 15 years. The world famous London Zoo is an accredited member of the Zoological Society of London, and teaches adults about the value of preservation and the beauty of wildlife with educational exhibits and attractions. The zoo offers indoor and outdoor habitats to hundreds of exotic animal species from around the extra globalised globe. Mop a sweaty brow while wandering through the tropical rainforests or galumph like a gazelle across the African savannah. Spying on giraffes, zebras, tigers, wildebeests and perhaps even a lion or two. London Zoo has also recently relocated a South American beach into the very confines of the enclosure, a 1200 sq metre pool where stunning colonies of Humboldt and Macaroni penguins lark around in a state of aquatic play.

Although reviews don’t relate specifically to the Zoo Lates nights, visitors have been impressed with London Zoo, giving particular mention to the newly opened penguin beach.
London Zoo is one of those places that doesn't get any less awesome just because you've aged and become more cynical with time. I went recently for the first time since primary school and I still gasped, pushed kids out of the way for a better view and got very over-excited. But that's because it's an amazing zoo.
