Seeking to provide a more natural and wholesome environment for equine friends, The Holistic Horse and Pony Centre allow their steeds to live, socialise and chew the cud in herds, both indoors and out. Over 50 acres are available for horses to enjoy year-round grazing, intuitive seasonal routines, a natural fibre diet and an alternative approach to care and welfare. These holistic ideals are also applied on the human side, with the relationship between rider and horse given emphasis and encouragement.

The two hour session begins with a lesson in grooming, tacking and bonding with the equable equine. This is then followed by a full hour of riding, with a skill assessment taken if the rider is a bronco beginner, before putting the horse back to bed and enjoying a rewarding cup of tea.
