We loved the position of it overlooking the river, and the room was delightful. We loved the history of the building and it had a lovely welcoming feeling. The staff were very pleasant.

The old world ambiance and charm dating back to Tudor times had been retained both from the outside of the hotel and inside. It is next to the river Thames and right in the centre of Henley with good parking facilities. It is only a five minute walk from the train station for London. The room was spotless and the staff at all times helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked with choice for those who do not want a cooked breakfast.
