Painshill Farm’s Hopeful Earl Riding Centre invites riders, capable of taking a horse to walk, trot and canter, out for a two and a half hour hack. The route takes riders through surrounding woods and fields with the pace adjusted according to the level of the group. The journey with four-legged companions is available seven days a week, at either 10am or 2.30pm.

What does the riding stables offer?

Why is it called Hopeful Earl?
It is named after the best horse that owner Ian McAlpine had ever sat on in the last ten years. Ex-racehorse riding experiences are also available.

The quality thoroughbreds have been re-trained and provide an exciting yet safe activity suited for all levels of experience.
