Everything about the place is magical! The building and grounds are just lovely, and the ambiance is unbeatable. Our room was lovely too...windows on 2 sides with great views, beams in the ceiling, very charming, great bathroom and shower. The dinner was excellent, as was the service.

Peace and tranquility. The hotel restaurant is outstanding and Abergavenny is a centre for lots of very good restaurants so we tried as many as we could in the time available.
