For more meetings with Mother Nature, drive a further 20 minutes to Fowey and take your pick of the beaches, from coastal coves for rock-pooling adventures to sandy estuary stretches for bucket and spade escapades. Wander the cobbled harbour-side streets of Mevagissey, a traditional fishing village nearby, and peer through art gallery and gift shop windows, or takes serious sprees to the Cathedral city of Truro for shopping of a more high street nature.

Meadow Lakes Holiday Park is rated 8/10 stars on UK Campsite and also receives a good report from RealHolidayReports.com. Visitors to the site spoke favourably of how spacious and clean it was. They commended the staff at hand while the children enjoyed the facilities available to them.
The site is very open which is nice, they are good at keeping it quiet after dark so not an 18-30s style holiday ļ The pitch sizes are good, seems to be lots of space. The staff are VERY friendly and helpful, there are rules which is good as it sets clear expectations on what is allowed vs not.

The site is great and well laid out with a very good outdoor play area for the children and a few animals and a lovely outdoor swimming pool. The site shop is well stocked and not a rip off as sometimes they can be.
