Love and marriage goes together like a horse and carriage, which is why you'll often see newlyweds galloping off into the sunset clapping coconut shells. Trot into marital happiness with today's Groupon: £2,758 for a wedding package for 50 day and 80 evening guests with wedding breakfast, evening buffet, bridal suite, and four bedrooms at The Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel.

Standing on the banks of the River Avon, the four star Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel boasts original features and views across the pretty city of Salisbury. The 13th century coaching inn surveys the reaches of Salisbury Cathedral and serves a fine selection of seasonal dishes from interiors still strongly supported by old oak beams. Nuptial pairs can see the wedding potential for themselves with a jaunt to the building's wedding open day on Sunday 1 April.

The inn's wedding package welcomes guests in with a glass of sparkling wine, before settling them down to the civil ceremony. The meal is accompanied by house wine, while a glass of Champagne each will be given out for the all-important toasts. After chinking glasses to the speeches, the nuptial party can make the most of the reception room, enjoying an evening buffet for 80 guests and rounding off the day's revelry. At the end of the day, happy pairs will bed down in the four poster bridal suite, while parents and members of the wedding party will have access to four of the hotel's bedrooms.

The Legacy Rose and Crown Hotel received a welcoming 4/5 from TripAdvisors, while the hotel was recommended by 85% of LateRooms.com visitors. While yet to be widely commented on by wedding guests, there has been positive feedback on the attentive service, the setting, and the decor of the hotel itself.
Very pleasant people and a chef who knows what he is doing. Interesting ancient building which has been well adapted. Lovely riverside location.

The situation is indeed lovely and very convenient to stroll to the Cathedral and other attractions in the close. The building is attractive and the dining room commands a lovely view.
