With its 160-metre dry slope feeling uncannily like snow when under skis, Gosling Ski and Board Centre opens its main and nursery slopes to both recreational skiing and classes. The pistes are also available for social events, kids’ parties, and a weekly snowboarding freestyle night, when boarders can be seen in the air as well as on the ground, showcasing their tricks and skills. Those with less extreme intentions can pamper themselves in the spa, which is complete with pool, sauna, steam room and more cleansing contraptions. The on-site bistro keeps stomachs satisfied after a hard day’s skiing and spa-ing.
One, two or four winter sport enthusiasts can spend two hours on the slope for a session of recreational skiing, with ski and boot hire included. Guests can then swap the slope for the robe, and immerse themselves into a day of relaxation at the spa. As well as swimming in the pool, and feeling the heat in the hot tub and steam room, visitors can undergo a cleansing experience in the Japanese salt room, or laze around in the Romanesque laconicum.
