Celebrating over three decades of culinary expertise, the family-run Robertos Restaurant pays homage to the traditional cooking techniques of Northern Italy with aromatic seafood, grilled meat, and freshly-prepared plates of pasta. Mediterranean medleys will hit all the right notes with a starter such as the king prawns served with salad and a chilli mayonnaise (£9.50); or the warm goat's cheese wrapped in parma ham and paired with onion jam (£8.75); before the chorus of main courses take to the stage. Savoury tunes can be sung by the likes of the scampi provençale dressed in a tomato, garlic, and herb sauce (£18); the sautéed calve's liver cooked in a sage jus and served with creamed potatoes (£16.25); or the Gamberoni thermador king prawns, flamed in brandy and served with a white wine sauce and rice (£19.50).

Food was outstanding with the smoked haddock from the daily special board and reccomended [sic] a lovely white wine to go with our dinner, over all I got what I paid for..... And it was a dinner worth every penny! Thanks will be back.
