Gardeners are often very persuasive, as they enjoy planting ideas in people’s heads. Help inspiration blossom with today’s Groupon: £20 for £40 worth of plants, or to spend towards garden furniture at Carpenders Park Garden Centre.
Helping gardeners feel that life is rosy, Carpenders Park stocks a leafy multitude of plants alongside sturdy garden furniture. The family-owned company provides paving and water features to green-thumbed clients, and enough perennials to drive growers potty. Boasting a cafe and gift shop, the centre is open seven days a week a short distance from Carpenders Park railway and London Overground station.
If choosing to browse for £40 worth of garden products, visitors will find plants such as Japanese Maple in a three litre pot (from £12.99) and 1.8m fruit trees (from £14.99) available for the picking. Patrons could also choose a bunch of Mediterranean or cottage garden greenery, or seek out glazed pots to place around the lawn. Alternatively, the £40 value can be used towards the cost of garden furniture such as a folding table (available from approx. £50), while clients can rest assured that any floral purchases will soon be their best buds.
While yet to be widely reviewed, Carpenders has attracted one very favourable comment from a customer satisfied by the array of products on offer and the overall value for money.
Very pleasant plant centre with lots of healthy looking plants. Staff were friendly and prices were good. Got very busy on Sunday, when I visited. They don’t sell pets or fish - shame. Coffee shop is small, but sells very good hot chocolate!
