Asian-inspired cuisine and a stirringly lengthy cocktail menu fuse the intricate flavours of the East with the sophistication and elegance of West London at The Gate Notting Hill. This intimate space invites epicureans into the heart of Notting Hill, seating them in sumptuous leather booths, or beckoning all manners of shapes to be thrown and caught on the dance floor. The smooth moves extend to the menu, which feature à la carte and dim sum dishes, and the cocktail list, heavy with concoctions ranging from the classic to the wasabi-tinged innovative.

Reviews

The Gate received a mouth-watering 4/5 from the ViewLondon critic, while ViewLondon users awarded 3/5. A few opinions varied on the service a times, though visitors were keen to praise the quality of the food along with the venue's atmosphere.

Dim lighting with a blue neon light behind the bar shows that this place can do atmospheric, but the restaurant area enjoys better lighting so you can really enjoy all the food and cocktails as they arrive.

Great restaurant with good music and even better service. I have become somewhat of a regular lately as I really enjoy the food and always receive the most friendly and efficient service.
