Leading budding artists in creative expressions using ten years of experience, Life Drawing Society UK gets Londoners putting it on paper with tutored classes and practice sessions across the Big Smoke. The volunteer-run organisation has branched out from humble origins and now runs workshop-based learnathons, home classes for artsy parties, and elaborate burlesque sessions. With skilled tutors, enthusiastic assistants and models of all shapes and sizes, the scribbling community welcomes new recruits with open arms and blank canvasses.
Burgeoning artists can take charcoal in hand and pick up the skills to recreate the form of professional dancers. Models will pose with pizzazz in burlesque accoutrements, bellydance or Japanese geisha get-up while a professional tutor helps to shape masterpieces with hints, tips, and encouragement. All artistic tools and materials are included, as well as a live burlesque performance for an extra dash of vivacity in the central Soho location.
