Established in 1993, this clinic has a number of resident practitioners, headed by Dr. Lalit Sodha DC, who has treated everyone from women in labour to people as old as 94 in his 20 years as a chiropractor. With full X-ray facilities on site, patient diagnosis will be swiftly executed, which pleases everyone except camera shy bones, and people hoping for superpower side effects. The clinic caters for people who prefer treatment with a female chiropractor, and Dr Sodha DC is happy to consult and advise in any of five languages (English, Hindi, Gujarati, Swahili and French).
An initial examination and consultation (£40) takes up to 45 minutes, during which X-rays may be taken if necessary. The chiropractor then finds funny bones and discusses them with the patient on a subsequent appointment, including diagnosis and identification of an appropriate course of chiropractic care. Three subsequent treatments (£35 each) gently manipulate the spine in sessions designed to address pain issues to get sedentary skeletons dancing again, while a 15 minute vibration massage (£35) is used to compliment the specific aims of the therapy.
