With 15 years' experience at her heels, the teacher at Rojo Y Negro takes to the floor with a sizzling range of tango classes, inspired by a love of the art and varied dance experience. The leading lady has two-stepped her way to Buenos Aires and back, both appearing in and choreographing a colourful range of performances. Classes are held near Kings Cross station and Bayswater tube, with both complete beginners and the more advanced invited to strike an artful pose.
Newcomers to tango can kick up their heels over a series of ten lessons, lasting an hour each, and covering the sways and smoulders that define this passionate South American dance. Alternatively, for a £10 supplement, clients may choose to attend an intensive four-hour workshop, suitable for those with a little experience or who wish to fast-track their dancing skills. This option will be followed by four further hour-long improver lessons held over subsequent weeks. In both cases, people are welcome to attend solo or with a dancing partner.
