Nestled in the undulating hills of the lush Yorkshire Dales, Bracken Ghyll Golf Club swings through a challenging 18 hole course dotted with devoted members and casual fairway players alike. The course benefits from outstanding fairways and beautifully kept greens that will challenge even the most accomplished golfer. Pairs of players can don their best plaid ensemble for a round of golf on the sun-dappled course, which features spectacular views of Bolton Abbey and the Beamsley Beacon. After teeing off, customers can aim to sail through hole after hole, bunker after bunker, before tackling the par three, 148-yard 17th hole, known locally only as a mythical beast named the ‘Quarry Hole’.

Great society day out, a course for most abilities, even mine!

What a lovely course, with all the character you only get from loads of ups and downs. Not a boring hole out there. The par 3 17th is enchanting which isn't a word you can often use with regard to golf courses. I wish I'd found it sooner. Outstanding setting and beautifully kept.
