Satiating hunger with traditional British fare, The Bay Tree is a traditional eatery whose accolades include an AA Rosette and a Flavours of Hambleton Pub Restaurant of the Year award 2010. Making the most of local produce, this Stillington restaurant rears its own Aberdeen Angus cattle to ensure control over its products, serving up tasty produce in a homely, family friendly environment.
Diners can choose to tickle their taste buds with a filling offering of 8oz of the home-reared Aberdeen Angus in the form of a sirloin steak, served with hand-cut chips, baked field mushrooms, roasted tomato and a choice of peppercorn sauce, béarnaise sauce or garlic butter (£18.95). Alternatively, ocean palates can make a splash by opting for local fish and chips served with home-made tartare sauce and Yorkshire caviar (£10.95).

Reviews
While yet to be widely reviewed, The Bay Tree has attracted a handful of favourable write-ups from satisfied diners. In addition, the eatery received Best Pub Restaurant of the Year at the 2010 Flavours of Hambleton awards.
The Bay Tree is hands down the best gastro pub in North Yorkshire. The food is always inventive and perfectly cooked and the atmosphere is lovely. All the meat is from their own farm and the veg is locally sourced. Eat in the conservatory and enjoy a lovely evening any time of year.
