Giving aspiring ornithologists a flying start, York Bird of Prey Centre houses over 50 feathered friends and other animals in a custom-built reserve on the grounds of historic Sutton Park. Visitors can spread their wings for a memorable day out as they wander these scenic gardens, the enclosures of which flap with owls, hawks, and formidable falcons. Twice-daily displays will offer a swift insight into the majesty of these chirpy creatures, while handling opportunities will bring audience members closer to the action. Once the heights of entertainment have been reached, visitors may come back down to Earth with a trip to the gift shop and cafe, or stop by Pets’ Corner to give guinea pigs, goats, and other critters a cuddle.
