About The Tour

Lasting 90 minutes, the journey will bubble with tales of York's torturous past, presented hauntingly by a team of dedicated undertakers to the supernatural.

Resurrecting history, York Terror Trail leads groups around the city on a spine-chilling adventure of darkened corners and forgotten alleys. Trained actors lead the way, performing as quirky characters on visits from the past. The York-based company also hosts other colourful events, including murder mystery evenings for those who enjoy donning a deerstalker and pipe.

We were not prepared for how entertaining, amusing & spellbinding the next 85 minutes were going to be! From the macabre to the downright eerie each story was well told & some even featured live "characters" to help bring the city's gruesome past back to life. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting York as it stands head-stones- and shoulders above the competition.
