With a foot constantly on the accelerator and a full tank of gas since 1954, Squires Café Bar is a traditional biker’s haunt that also moonlights as an eatery, party venue, and camping site. Alongside a cafe known for its pasties and milky coffees, there is always something to get stuck in to, be it races and organised rides or spring fairs and live music events. A recently installed synthetic ice rink takes a coveted spot at this eclectic venue, and is suitable for all ages and pirouetting abilities.
Up to eight party poppers can join the coolest party around where the function room becomes a chilled out ice rink for budding skaters. 60 minutes of practising icy figures of eight and moonwalking backwards can ensue with the disco lights going crazy and music blaring. Ice shimmying kids can then sit down to a meal, swiftly followed by a choice of strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla ice cream for dessert. Skate hire will be included, so all ice gliders need to bring is a cool smile and a bucket full of balance.
