Spring/Summer 15' Fashion Trends at Debenhams Glasgow

Much-loved high street retailer Debenhams has everything you need to take on the SS15 fashion trends- from their high street brand concessions such as Topshop and Oasis, to their Designers at Debenhams collections from the likes of Brit-favourite Henry Holland. Here they take you through the trends for this Spring/Summer as I talk to their Glasgow store team...

What Are The Main SS15 Fashion Catwalk Trends?

With Christmas well and truly out of the way, it’s time to look ahead to the warmer months and the upcoming SS15 trends. The Seventies are back in SS15, with flared trousers, suede jackets and pussy-bow blouses featured heavily on the catwalks at Prada and YSL. Military inspired pieces in neutral and khaki tones were seen at Marc Jacobs and are sure to be a hit on the high street this Spring. At Gucci these were teamed with bohemian inspired prints to soften the look. Bold florals and stripes are the stand out prints of SS15 and statement denims in the form of skirts, jackets and dresses are also set to be a big trend.

How Can Shoppers Incorporate Their AW14 Purchases Into Their SS15 Looks?

It’s important to invest in basics that can be adapted and worn throughout the year. Leather is a big trend that we will see returning this SS15, and in particular, Todd Lynn has some gorgeous leather jackets and dresses with leather panelling hitting stores in the coming months. As the weather improves, team your leather jacket with distressed denim and a white tee for a laid back, off duty look and add a bright tote bag for a pop of colour.
