The spa was lovely. The girls really good especially Zeena.. Great massage. The hotel is still undergoing its refurbishment and the spa and pool area yet to be done. In sure once completed this will be a fabulous 5 star venue

If I was paying full whack for the spa day I would give it 3 stars based on the amenities of the spa (the treatments would still be 5 star). However, when you bare in mind that for just over £30 you get use of the facilities for the whole day & 2 fantastic treatments, I think it’s worth a 5 star review!

Treatments were lovely and the beautician was fsbhowever , think the actual spa experience was not worth the money , if I had paid full price I would of been very disappointed. Changing rooms and surrounding areas looks very tired and in need of some attention.

Tiny changing space and no couples massage space. Pool and spa a good temperature but not all jets in spa worked. No back jets. Staff were polite but massage quality varied. One good, one not so good. Overall wouldn't use again. Previously massage was much better and more balanced.

Really lovely place. We just wasn’t told anything about our day which was so unorganised

Make sure you pre order your lunch as the kitchen here tends to be rather slow!

There were 2 of us and we were taken in 15 minutes late, with no apology and both squashed in to the same room. She started to cut my nails and when she'd finished my left foot asked me what I thought. I asked for my big toe nail to be a little shorter and instead of filing she used clippers and cut it too short, pulling at the nail to pull it off and then filing it until it was ready to bleed;I had to stop her because it was getting very painful. She pushed back my cuticles but did not trim them. It was like she was in a rush. And what was most disgusting is that the two therapists did not have their own tools, were sharing the tools backwards and forwards on myself and my friend, and used the clippers on both of us without disinfecting. This is bang out of order for cross contamination and infection. We were convinced with the skills of either of the therapists. I asked what made the treatment 'luxury' and she said either the foot boots OR a shellac polish. I expected at least a foot massage in addition to shaping, exfoliation and paint as being 'luxury'. At no time were we told that the pedicures were shellac only - either after booking or once we had chosen our polishes. If they were shellac I would not have booked the treatments and asked for my money back as I do not agree with them and how you have to get them off - either growing out (yuk), peeling off (disgusting) or paying for expensive remover - the 3 ways the therapist advised me of. I booked understanding it was normal polish which used warm mittens in the treatment. She said I could have a warm feet treatment instead of the shellac. This was not an option. I made my booking as I struggle to get down to my feet and wanted my nails painting so I could wear sandals as I don't like wearing sandals without pretty toes. My therapist had finished my '1 hour treatment' by 14:55 and said to her colleague that she had another treatment to do and got her towels ready and was going to apologise to her client that she would be 5-10 minutes late as she could not bring them in to the treatment room until we had left. How disgusting and rude.

Good day. Main issue is that to have lunch, one needs to get dry, fully dressed and go upstairs for the restaurant before getting undressed and back into your costume to continue your spa day (not great with drip wet hair etc!). Treatments good. Changing rooms/showers tired - could do with modernising.

I paid for an hour long gel polish to hands and feet with spa access. Could not seem to book both together doe the dates I wanted having tried five different dates over a two month period. So decided to forgo the spa and just book for the nails. It was quick and lacked in attention and I was out of the door in 30-35 minutes! The colours available were great if you are a teenager wanting bright blues and greens etc. No neutral brown / grey colours available Before I had reached the car park one thumb nail had fallen off. I returned and was offered "well you didn't have colour". I can give you a voucher! A refund was never offered. By the time I had left the car park all finger nail polish was off. Toe nails with colour were uneven, very "gloopy" gel and unclean edges with a "knock" of colour out on one. A lot of money to spend for a badly executed speedy polish. Avoid.

Pleasant day spent in the gym and spa. Pedicure was lovely. Close by and would go again.
