No atmosphere and looked tired. Also very cold! Food was ok. Service was ok. With so many places to choose from for Sunday lunch, the ambience needs to improve.

Nothing, slow service, burnt aunt besides yorkshires, raw uncooked vegetables, the roast lamb was full of fat, not 1 slice of edible meat! Did complain there but they weren't interested, just 2 youngsters serving! Apologised and said how they don't make a profit out of groupon customers, well the whole point of groupon is to try and win new customers and us along with the other diners who complained that day won't be back, sort yourselves out!

the pub is set in a lovely location and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, we found the food was overpriced for the quality. A couple of suggestions - the potatoes were not crispy or cooked enough, the yorkshire pud was flat and the lamb very fatty. The desserts on offer were a good selection. However, having custard on the side rather than poured over the dessert would be presented better.

The lamb was very fatty. Could only eat about 1/2 of the meat given. Not a very good cut of meat. Staff friendly. Starters and puddings very good.

The pub is not well maintained; a number of light bulbs not working; chair spindle broken; and just a feeling of drabness not condusive to a pleasant evening. It felt as though it had no 'life' to it. The wine was just about put on the table with 2 glasses - no opening or tasting, not that we expect that all the time, but it would have been nice to have the bottle opened and first glass poured. The camembert starter was microwaved and when we got our main meal the chips were quite clearly 'warm-ups'. My wife had to send her steak back as it was served 'well done' rather than 'rare' like she asked. This plate of food was completely different from the original with freshly cooked chips and overall fresher looking. The service was really non-existent. Overall a very disappointing night. We will not be going back there.

Cheese Board was a little meagre with the cheese. Lamb was a bit stringy. Beef and Pork were excellent as were the other deserts.
