The Smarden Bell harks back to the 15th century, with its traditional decor, hearty meals and pints of real ales. The pub features an eye-catching peg-tiled roof, plus exposed brick walls, oak beams and three bar areas inside. Traditional British cuisine, such as beer-battered fish with rustic-cut chips and mushy peas, features on the menu alongside international flavours, including Asian fish cakes with sweet chilli sauce. Vegetarian options also abound.
