Fantastic food and attentive and friendly staff especially steven who entertained us throughout the visit and made our meal very
On walking in to restaurant it was dirty and dingy, tables still had old food and hadn’t been cleaned. We had booked 4 fish teas and did enjoy it however!! 3 out of 4 of us were physically sick that night. After the fish we had a cup of tea, the teapot came which was rusty all over and so was the milk jug. 2 of the cups were filthy with ring marks inside them. I asked the waitress to change them for us politely and she did but couldn’t careless back came another cup which was chipped and hadn’t been washed I was disgusted. At that we left and I won’t be returning!!!! I have to add there was an older waitress who was lovely I had no problems with her but the younger girl was too interested in serving the bar than the customers for lunch.
Been several times now and never any problems. Good food good service. Would definitely use again. Décor a bit tired however other than that no issues.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and service was good. Fish tea was good.

Excellent service with a friendly face, food was delicious again, and I would definitely recommend the Sticky Toffee pudding if you're opting to add a dessert :)
