First opened in Soho in 1926, Patisserie Valerie follows artisanal baking traditions brought to London by Belgian-born Madam Valerie, whose mission was to introduce continental patisserie to the English. Now boasting over 120 venues nationwide, the company adorns its cafes with a 1950s-inspired decor and serves up an array of freshly made cakes, craft pastries, breakfasts, lunches, coffees and loose-leaf teas. Their specialities include meticulously crafted croissants and viennoiseries, as well as homemade Italian-style gelato.
Food was really good, they catered to my food intolerance. Quiche were still warm and the pastry crumbled in the mouth scones were warm and were light and delicious to eat, the cakes offered were of a good variety and having refills of hot chocolate and tea made the whole experience delightful. I would recommend this to all my family and friends
Took me three attempts to redeem my voucher never any available ! Only 4 ordered daily .cannot telephone in cannot book first come first served at 11am ridiculous!!!!!
Nice atmosphere. Helpful staff. Tea and (any) coffee refills with the good value afternoon tea. Add good company to the cake - what more do want?
We had the brunch it was tasty.
Very nice afternoon Tea. However, definite difference in the size of the finger sandwiches and scones between those paying with a Groupon voucher and those paying the full menu price. Had noticed it before, but this last visit confirmed the difference!
