If this establishment has had any staff training in the past, the management should ask for their money back, because none of it has worked. The common complaint among the parents/grandparents was that the initial booking was dealt with in an "abrupt" manner in that telephone etiquette was noticeable by its absence. The day seemed to "stumble along" with very little programme or structure. Staff were seemingly called from doing something in the yard to help out with the children with minimal contact between the staff and children as to what it was they were doing or why. The kids enjoyed it but I would have preferred to see events on a timetable/schedule and the staff engaging more with the children and a more co-operative approach. For example, in the grooming section I got the impression that the brushes etc were brought along and the children were then told to "get on with it" (in no way nastily, I should add) but no structured learning was involved.
