From Our Editors
For the past 30 years, the team at Toby Carvery have been on a mission to bring British roast dinners nationwide. All meat is sourced from UK grass-fed or free-range farms that meet Red Tractor standards. Every day, each Toby Carvery restaurant lays on a family-sized feast. Tender, slow-cooked meats, eight lots of freshly-prepared veggies, including crispy, ruffled roasties, and freshly-made Yorkshires served crisp, fluffy and piping-hot. Vegetarian and vegan options are on the menu for those who leave meat off their plates, and a wide range of drinks can be paired with the dishes for a boosted indulgence. A kids menu and all-you-can-eat breakfasts are also available.
Always a warm welcome and great food
Pros. Location is on main road, hard to miss good parking
Staff friendly and good service
Roast Potato and chutneys were nice
Cons: Turkey was chewy, pork ok, gammon had too much salt. Mash potato, cauliflower cheese below average.
Slightly disorganised behind the bar..... or short staff !!!
Great service, excellent food.
Lovely food and service. Came away feeling stuffed, highly recommend.
We had a lovely meal eventually - unfortunately the beef and pork looked too dry to eat end so we had to wait until fresh meat was brought out.
I had a lovely bit of beef. Great selection for Coeliacs, which makes a nice change.
Excellent value for money.
Didn't say didn't like it but felt a bit ripped off as two of us were veggies and others not costs under £5 each for meat free. version and paid nearly £30 for voucher - will def think twice about another one!
make sure all meats are on display before getting your meal, also beef very fatty!
