From Our Editors

Located on the sixth level at The Club and Spa within The Cube, this Marco Pierre White restaurant serves up a variety of Italian fare. The eatery is named after the town in northern Italy where Marco's mother, Maria-Rosa was born and where he spent holidays at this family run delicatessen. Bardolino represents a friendly, casual dining experience with recognisable family favourites and aims to serve up authentic Italian dishes from fresh pasta dishes and stone-baked pizzas to salads and sharing platters.

Very slow service, despite being almost empty. I had the burger as a main, it was obviously frozen because when you picked it up greasy water poured, and I mean poured out of it. Was never asked how I wanted it cooked, it was very rare. It was OK, BUT ONLY OK. There’s a lot of competition in the close proximity so I wouldn’t go again, nor would I want to. Very average, nothing special.

Waterside restaurant with views over the canal at the bottom of The Cube. Light and airy with individual chairs and also bench seating. We had afternoon tea with prosecco and unlimited tea of your choice. An unusual choice of mini burgers and fries, olives, Parma ham filled mini rolls, bruschetta with cherry tomatoes, bruschetta topped with fresh salmon in cream sauce , small slice of chocolate brownie and a small slice of vanilla slice. All served on a wooden structure of little shelves. Portions are small but fresh and tasty and we did not leave hungry. Staff are friendly and professional.
