Boasting TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence 2015 and 2016, Newman Brothers at Coffin Works is a museum set in Birmingham's last coffin furniture factory. The functional machinery and shelves still filled with original stock, tools and personal items allow visitors to experience the historical ambience of the industrial complex. Back in its day, the company produced fittings for the funerals of famous figures such as Joseph Chamberlain and Winston Churchill. Currently, the venue is under the supervision of Birmingham Conservation Trust, a charity created with the aim to preserve the city's architectural heritage.
