My only very small criticism is that the queue to get into Santa was very long, we had to wait for over an hour until we got into the grotto, it is very hard to keep a 4 year old entertained for this length of time, especially as he was excited to see Santa. Maybe they could do something to keep the children entertained. The sleigh rides were an added bonus unfortunately we could not participate as it was too late and we did not want to lose our place in the queue. All in all it was lovely and Santa made sure my grandson was happy and posed for photos for us, despite our 1 year old being a little cranky. Thank you for a wonderful time and look forward to coming to see you all again next year

Despite paying for a pony experience &gift we were still required to pay £4 per person to ride in a sleigh being driven by 2 ponies (the experience) and the gifts were a 99p box of chocolates for my eldest and a used looking teddy for my youngest. Would not recommend at all.

Disappointed compared to what was described on website. We got there at 4:10pm and it seemed very disorganised. We had a time slot booked to see santa which seemed pointless as everyone just joined one big queue to wait - including those who had pre booked and those who had just turned up. Half the Christmas lights weren't even switched on, the sleigh was in a shed not ready for use and the horses to pull the sleigh didn't even arrive until approx 4:45pm. Santa was inappropriate with his comments to my 5yr old, acting horrified when my son said he'd leave him a drink of milk and then telling him "let me teach you some new words ... Jack Daniels. Whisky" Maybe he thought it was a funny comment but obviously my 5yr old didn't have a clue what he was talking about and just made him (and me) uncomfortable.

Overpriced, £14 for a 2 min visit to Santa, cheap colouring book or £1.00 pack of chocolate, not many Xmas lights, extra £4 for a sleigh ride which didn't even last a minute, had a booked time slot for Santa, was told time was irrelevant, waited over an hour to visit Santa, luckily I live local as would have been annoyed if I'd had to travel far

Big thanks to the owner & staff who really looked after our son who has autism and hates having to wait for long periods of time. It may be an idea that if you were to get more interest from parents with special needs children that you have specific times/dates that they are allocated. Although the other members of the public were fine when we were took to the front of the queue for Santa some are not always as obliging. For us though the experience was brilliant everyone was very considerate & kind. With our son trips out can be very demanding especially if he is experiencing sensory issues, too much noise, long waiting times. I have already recommended Fox Hills to other parents. Thank you
