Food very good and nice selection but not impressed with plastic tablecloth. Handy for theatres and not far from New Street station.

This was a delightful place to go with a friend. The lady that runs it I've nicknamed mother Birmingham as she shows immense compassion to the homeless people of the city centre. The food was gorgeous and the offer of toasted sandwiches rather than just traditional cold sandwiches was a welcome change especially with the Winter months approaching I would definitely go there again. The scones were massive and we were stuffed at the end of of our afternoon tea. The place is in an ideal location for working people and was steady with business throughout our visit, suffice to say it is popular for all the right reasons, a lovely lady and lovely kind staff, that goes a long way in this day and age, salt of the earth.

Is not the nicest location in Birmingham but the place is nice and tidy. The afternoon tea was really good, they offer toasted sandwiches as well as cold sandwiches which was a nice twist to the traditional tea. I went with my mother, sister and daughter for a girls afternoon and we all loved it.

Afternoon tea was nothing like it was described in picture and it was just a basic cafe. I was very disappointed as I was treating friends for my birthday.

Not quite a Coffee Factory but enjoyed the experience. Nice touch with the toasted sandwiches instead of the usual finger type although the cakes were a bit on the small size. Very quiet when we were there and enjoyed the background history and some of the well known visitors who have eaten at the Diner.
