From Our Editors
The story of Jamie's Italian began when Jamie Oliver, supported by his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, opened the first restaurant in Oxford in 2008. Since then, the kitchen's experienced chefs have been committed to bringing a piece of Italy to customers all over the UK, with a menu combining traditional recipes and quality ingredients with innovative ideas and Jamie's signature twist. Guests can savour an array of dishes, including freshly made pasta, as well as steaks, pizzas and salads that can be complemented with a fine selection of wine and cocktails.
You have to be aware that they produce a separate limited menu for the Groupon voucher at Jamie's. Our party of four thought the desert was great. The main courses were very tasty but the portion was like it came from a children's menu; very small. We all agreed we should have never used the voucher and just ordered from the full menu. The portion size from the main menu is double the size of the Groupon menu. We will definitely visit Jamie's again but not with a Groupon voucher.

The pasta was not very nice
It was very nice, the bolagnase I had was the tastiest I’ve ever eaten
The food was amazing the service fantastic. They offered to carry our bags for us and they gave a complimentary ice cream with a birthday message for my mum on as it was her 70th.
Food very nice service very quick good atmosphere around the restaurant would go back
Good variety of food but service at the beginning rather slow
Food was great, definitely recommend it. However fruit smoothies/non-alcoholic cocktails were a bit overbearing, too much lime, very acidic. Apart from that atmosphere and food very nice.
