The experienced chef at the Pipal Tree restaurant caters for Punjabi-British fusion cuisine providing Easton and the whole of Bristol with a choice of Indian, Punjabi and English classics. Guests can tuck into meat, vegetarian or vegan options with a wide selection of brunch specialities. This air-conditioned venue is equipped with baby changing facility, Wi-Fi and a bar serving beer and spirits.
Great value little Punjabi Bistro. Maybe the best brunch menu in this part of Bristol? Good and friendly service, with all the usual English breakfast ‘suspects’, but a reasonable choice of Punjabi alternatives too. I tried Tharka Beans on toast and found the dish delightful. Gently spiced, with a deeply flavoured tomato sauce, it will please anyone looking for something familiar, but more intensively seasoned.
The dishes are priced to be competitive, so won’t upset miserly customers too much. But for those who have an interest in quality vs cost, will find it really good value.
The evening menu looks really interesting, so we’re keen to return in order to try it. But the feedback and popularity indicates we’ll have to book ...
