For the past 30 years, the team at Toby Carvery have been on a mission to bring British roast dinners nationwide. All meat is sourced from UK grass-fed or free-range farms that meet Red Tractor standards. Every day, each Toby Carvery restaurant lays on a family-sized feast. Tender, slow-cooked meats, eight lots of freshly-prepared veggies, including crispy, ruffled roasties, and freshly-made Yorkshires served crisp, fluffy and piping-hot. Vegetarian and vegan options are on the menu for those who leave meat off their plates, and a wide range of drinks can be paired with the dishes for a boosted indulgence. A kids menu and all-you-can-eat breakfasts are also available.
Good value food, well cooked and presented at the counter ... nice warm venue, when it's cold outside ...
Limited choice of meat , only beef as they had run out of the others , most of vegetables were potato’s,
Roast potato, mash potato, potato bake ...
No swede , no sprouts , they did have massive dish of boiled onions is that a vegetable ?
Always a good meal that you don't have to wait for!

Great service; fantastic meal.
we booked a table via their web site for 7.30. Ten minutes later we had a text to say we had not arrived and so did the next table.waited 10 minutes for the waitress to serve our drink. Ordered a glass of red wine only to be told it was not in the offer only white and rose. I showed them your deal and they said no so I ordered a glass of tap water.Another 10 minutes went by before they took our food order. They were not busy about 6 tables in use.The food was ok not the best.
At the end there was a problem with the voucher so she went off to the manager who was in her office and I waited for about 5 minutes and she said it was fine but she didn't tell me tell afterwards there was a problem. The waitress might have been new.
We usually have the Carvery at this Toby in Bradley Stoke (they call it Almondsbury which is posher but it’s actually in Bradley Stoke!) It’s pretty reliable but sometimes the veggies look a bit “old” so ask for fresh ones. The meats are normally great.
